Dr. Psihas received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from George Mason University in 2008. Dr. Psihas shadowed her uncle in his dental practice growing up and it was here that she developed her love for dentistry. Prior to dental school, she was a dental assistant for 4 years. Dr. Psihas completed her dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh.

Upon completion of Dental School, Dr. Psihas completed a general practice residency program at the Montefiore Medical center in the Bronx, NY, where she cared for a wide variety of patients ranging from special needs patients to dental phobic patients to pediatric patients. Dr. Psihas is competent in all phases of dentistry to include, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridgework, Implant restorations and oral surgery.

Dr. Psihas has advanced training with special needs patients, IV sedation, and implant restorations. She attends regular study club meetings to further her education and is working on receiving her fellowship in General Dentistry. She believes strongly is preventative dentistry and patient education to care for the patients overall health.
